The observer encounters a bril- liant, truly three-dimensional image of highest luminosity – without glasses or other tools. Perspective, depth of field and color rendition correspond to the view through the eyepieces of a stereomicroscope. Thanks to the cor- rection by the head tracking system, the user can move in front of the moni- tor without losing the 3D effect. Leica Colposcope

High Light Intensity for Safe Examination Results The highest degree of secure diagnosis is required in gynecology. We also offer the well-known Leica standards for this purpose. The Leica Colposcope allows you to view examination points in differ- ent planes in one step and quickly re- cognize any connections. It delivers contrast-rich 3D images using a large depthof field. The light intensity is signif- icantly higher than those of colpos- copes from other manufacturers. The Leica Colposcope is available either with 6:1 zoom or 5-step magnification changer as well as a mobile floor stand or a stand for chair mounting. Acces- sories for video recording and photo- graphy are available for documenting the examination results.

Leica FluoCombiIII

Fluorescence from 3D to High Resolution for In-Vivo Study The new Leica FluoCombiIII™ is now available as an option for Leica MZ16F and MZ16FA fluorescence stereomi- croscopes for all fluorescence proce- dures in the biotech lab. It allows the user to switch quickly between a plan- apochromatic 1x stereo objective and a planapochromatic 5x high-resolution micro-objective with unique sharpness and brilliant fluorescence over the en- tire field of view. Now, in a single work step, you can sort drosophila, C. ele- gans, zebrafish or Arabidopsis in a three-dimensional overview with large fields of view and screen them with the micro-objective – at 460x magnification, 1500 lp/mm resolution and 19 mm work- ing distance. Leica L5FL

Low-Cost Accessory System for Fluorescence Applications in Genetics The Leica L5FL is a cost-effective sys- tem for routine fluorescence stereomi- croscopy designed for daily routine work using fluorescence. Genetics and developmental biology applications, such as identifying, sorting, and select- ing C. elegans, Drosophila, and Ze- brafish experimental models, will espe- cially benefit from this accessory. The Leica L5FL can easily be integrated into new or existing Leica stereomicro- scopes. It can be used for either blue or green fluorescence excitation in appli- cations where fluorescence expression is high. Leica offers the L5FL as a com- plete, ready-to-use kit. An integrated 5-position filter wheel in the cold light source allows users to mount and easi- ly switch between up to 2 excitation filters, and optional color filters.
